Your Well Being: Yoga extends the useful range and intelligence of your muscles to better support your spine and joints. We are always working at the edge of your capability.
Please consult your physician about starting yoga classes if you are recovering from a recent injury or question your ability to participate.
Also, only you know how hard to push yourself to work within your training zone at the edge of your capability but not into pain. Pain is totally counter-productive in yoga and should be avoided at all times.
BASIC/GENTLE FLOW
For new students or those looking for a slower paced hatha - vinyasa practice. Instructor gives modifications. Long warm up, followed by a mix of holding poses (hatha) and poses coordinated with breathing (vinyasa).
HATHA YOGA
Asana (pose) oriented yoga that includes alignment, balance, flexibility and strength. Modifications are given, so each student can work at their own level.
CORE YOGA
Building balanced and integrated strength with emphasis on the core. This sculpts and tones the body. Includes insights into the total Yoga Experience.
POWER VINYASA + CORE STRENGTH YOGA
Coordinate breathing with movement while building sculpted, balanced strength with this challenging flow oriented yoga.
VINYASA YOGA
Poses are mindfully linked together with attention to breathing and alignment. A flow oriented class.
CANDLE LIGHT YOGA (Winter Seasonal Class)
Stimulate all the senses with total yoga ambiance.
YOGA THERAPEUTICS
We utilize isometric, resistive stretching, restorative yoga techniques as well as targeted muscle activation and contraction to help the body achieve deep muscle lengthening and joint stabilization in a safe manner. Attention is paid to working around and with common injury and sensitivities such as neck, back, shoulder, hip and knee pain. Participants of all levels and abilities will find this class comfortable and beneficial. Folks who identify themselves as “not flexible,” those with longstanding but “healed” injuries or limitations in movement as well as endurance athletes such as triathletes will find this class especially beneficial.
GENTLE/RESTORATIVE YOGA
This class is a slower paced yoga asana practice with more pose explaination. Typically one restorative pose is included which is held for longer periods of time. This class is excellent for new yoga practitioners, people with limited mobility/flexibility, endurance athletes and people recovering from injury.
YOGA BASICS
This class will explore classical yoga postures with a focus on correct alignment. We will explore standing, seated and reclining postures while developing our flexibility, strength and balance skills. We also explore basic meditation and breathing techniques (pranayama) in this class. This class is appropriate for all levels of students however it will be geared toward those wanting a more therapeutic experience.

FOUNDATION AND FLOW
An all levels class with dynamic flow sequences synchronizing breath and movement and static poses. Class will incorporate a break-down of postures while building strength, balance and increasing flexibility.
